Cannabinoid Profiling
IN-HOUSE ANALYTICAL LABORATORY IN COMPLIANCE WITH GOOD LABORATORY PRACTICES – ISO 17025.
The PharmaHemp Laboratories make a quantitative determination of cannabinoids with high accuracy and precision in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice. Our validated method utilizes state-of-the-art, high-performance liquid chromatography and can currently determine 10 cannabinoids (CBD, CBDA, CBDV, THC, THCA, THCV, CBG, CBGA, CBN and CBC) in a wide variety of materials and cannabis-infused products. The PharmaHemp Laboratories are in the final stage of obtaining accreditation for an analytical method under the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017, for testing and calibration laboratories.
ISO 17025 enables us to ensure that we operate competently and generate valid, reliable results. We prove our laboratory competency by participating in global proficiency tests, where we compare our results with other reference laboratories. PharmaHemp Laboratories, apart from serving as an internal quality-control system, also perform quantitative determinations of cannabinoids for growers, producers and end users. PharmaHemp Laboratories is awarded by Emerald Scientific for excellence in cannabis testing for potency of hemp bud and hemp oil.
CBC- Cannabichromene
Neutral, non-psychoactive cannabinoid, usually found in small amounts.
CBN- Cannabinol
Neutral, non-psychoactive cannabinoid, usually found in small amounts, product of degradation of THC.
CBGA – Cannabigerol acid
Acidic, non-psychoactive cannabinoid biosynthesized in glandular trichomes, precursor to other natural cannabinoids, decarboxylates to CBG.
CBG – Cannabigerol
Neutral non-psychoactive cannabinoid, product of decarboxylation of CBGA, abundant in some strains.
THCV – Tetrahydrocannabivarin
Neutral, non-psychoactive homologue of THC, usually found in small amounts.
CBDV – Cannabidivarin
Neutral, non-psychoactive homologue of CBD, usually found in small amounts.
THCA – Tetrahydocannabinolic Acid
Acidic, non-psychoactive cannabinoid biosynthesized in glandular trichomes, decarboxylates to THC.
THC – Tetrahydrocannabinol
Neutral psychoactive cannabinoid, product of decarboxylation of THCA, abundant in several cannabis strains.
CBDA – Cannabidiolic Acid
Acidic, non-psychoactive cannabinoid biosynthesized in glandular trichomes, decarboxylates to CBD.
CBD – Cannabidiol
Neutral, non-psychoactive cannabinoid, product of decarboxylation of CBDA, a common cannabinoid in most hemp plants.
