Why To Use Cbd?

Why to use CBD?

Full Spectrum CBD Oil is known for a long time from its positive impact on the human body. CBD is used in the treatment of such diseases as epilepsy1, autism, anxiety (even with children)2, depression, schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s, migraines, vomiting, Crohn’s3 syndrome, and many more. CBD has also strong anti-inflammatory properties.  It is hard to list all diseases in which CBD can be very helpful and it is important to say that researchers around the world still work on discovering CBD benefits for human health.

It is also important to know that CBD does not have any psychoactive cannabinoid, THC4. CBD does not cause any form of addiction and is very safe. You simply can not overdose CBD!

In many countries, including Poland, using medical marihuana (with THC) is already legalized and everyone is able to go to the doctor and get a prescription. Unfortunately, it is still only theoretical because i.e. in Poland the availability of medical marihuana is still very limited and doctors are not used to offering it to patients. THC, just like CBD has also a lot of positive impacts on the human body, and actually this is the reason why medical marihuana is used in some very severe conditions to bring people relief where other drugs simply do not work. When it comes to medical marihuana CBD works with THC5 in a team that is why it is important to use medical marihuana which contains both ingredients at proper levels. This is, however, a story for a whole new article so now let’s focus on CBD…

I would like to start with a general explanation about the endocannabinoid system in the human body…

The endocannabinoid system consists of cannabinoid receptors and transmitters is the basic mechanism that regulates the homeostasis in the human body. It is a peculiar communication system that is involved in numerous physiological reactions. It is located in the brain and in other body tissues and organs as well. In our following articles we will try to elaborate a bit more about the endocannabinoid system.

The binding of CBD to CB2 receptors in the peripheral nervous system can regulate pain through the immune system6, reduce inflammation7, and thus alleviate pain from an inflammatory source. Research proves also that CBD can be extremely helpful when it comes to sleep8 disorders and you can find many people which claim that using a few drops of CBD during the day helped then a lot to sleep better. And as we all know a good night’s sleep is crucial for general well-being, life quality, and overall health.

Another topic I would like to discuss is very important for millions of women around the world who go through menopause and face the problem of mood swings. One of the CBD properties which are already well described by researchers is its influence on the production of anandamide9 (AEA), which actually is a part of the endocannabinoid system. Anandamide is a neurotransmitter produced by our body during sleep and when we relax. In order to visualize what anandamide is and how it works it is good to use an example, I hope, many of you are familiar with. When you run or exercise your body produces anandamide which makes you feel good, you feel euphoria. This state of the body is commonly known as “runner’s euphoria”. In that state we feel good, our body has more strength and is much more resistant to pain. Thanks to such a reaction of the body women in menopause can feel much better physically and mentally.

CBD is also beneficial for the human bones system and prevents osteoporosis10. Last but not least CBD is now under heavy research when it comes to cancer11 treatment, however, I must say that so far there is no clear and 100% proven research that document and proves CBD influence, although many people claim CBD helped them a lot or even saved their life.

As you can see CBD use and its benefits are an extremely wide topic and it is impossible to tell about all of them in such a short article. It is just the tip of an iceberg. However, I think this introduction will allow you, dear readers, to get a grasp of understanding and I promise you to dive deeper into all mentioned above CBD benefits in my following articles.

Stay tuned!
